Congrats, Sarah & Chris! Athens, Georgia

Sarah & Chris had a very rainy day wedding, but as you’ll see, they didn’t care. They got married at their place in Athens, but the entire interior of the house was unfinished due to renovation. There was no Plan B. Most of the guests just toughed it out when the sky opened up right in the middle of the ceremony. It made for some really memorable shots! The best part was their positive attitude in spite of the rain. It meant that their photos showed the love, excitement and beauty of the day instead of what you’d normally expect for something like this. On to the photos!

Nerves!

Valet baby parking!

The moms are ready to go. It looked like it was going to hold out for the ceremony at this point.

It started to sprinkle. Maybe that’d be all it would do!

Smart, eh?

Happy no matter what!

It started to really come down. We don’t bother with trying to cover the cameras. We use the models that can take a good drenching.

The tempo for the ceremony was lockstep with the amount of water coming down.

Done!!!

This was super cool, a door used as a place for best wishes. Nice, huh?

Time for the reception!

It had gotten really soggy by this point. Sarah and Chris make their grand, wet entrance.

Awwwwww…

Sarah really and truly did not care that her dress was going to get dirty. It was all about the fun and celebration. Besides, how cool does her dress look now?

Beautiful exit, wouldn’t you say?

Congrats, Sarah & Chris, and thank you for going with us! We had a great time!

Wow great documentary. I love the image of the audience with the fans on their head and the photo of the little girl under the house.

What equipment do u use? canon or the other one? I use canon.
What lens did you use to take the photo of Sarah on the dance floor with the dirty dress – awesome!!!!
Fantastic photography! I love the exit shot from above and behind. Beautiful! The bride seems like an awesome girl and you did a great job conveying that.
Get the toe tags ’cause we killed it! Luckily the weather didn’t kill our cameras.
Thanks for having us Sarah & Chris! You guys were fantastic to work with!
Cheers,
Zack
Charl – I shot all Nikon D3 and D2x. Zack shot D3 and some 5D Canon thing.
The shot of the dance floor/dirty dress was mine and was likely a 24mm prime on the D3. – Marc
