The best band nobody knows about.
For some reason, even friends who are well connected to music surprised me when they’d never heard of Electrelane. What a phenomenal group, nothing short of amazing. I can thank satellite radio for introducing me to their music. The albums in order of appearance above are The Power Out, No Shouts No Calls, and Axes. All three are definitely worth having in the collection. They are some great photographers as well. Check out their site:

Great band! Glad you told me about them.
I came to your site to see how you implemented show/hide comments. I was stunned to see the Electrelane album covers.
I actually saw Electrelane play earlier this year. I had gone to see The Blow (Khaela Maricich — http://www.myspace.com/theblowus) who opened for them, and it was really the first I had ever heard of them.
The minute they started to play I was entranced. I had never heard anything like it. So powerful and so mesmerizing.
I keep meaning to write about them on my nascent blog. I think you’ve inspired me.
