We rocked this joint in-a old school way.
Break it down! Atlanta just hosted its 34th annual Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar. We attended, as did several colleagues from around the country. The seminar was wonderful. We were honored to sit in on a talk by Todd Heisler, the Pulitzer Prize winning photographer who shot the amazing Final Salute feature. It was very moving! Another highlight was a talk by the president of Media Storm, Brian Storm. Brian is the mastermind behind what is called “new media,” a blend of stills, audio and video wrapped up in very compelling presentations.
As we were going to have some friends in town for the seminar, coupled with the fact that we never had a formal studio opening, we decided to throw a party. What a party it turned out to be. The highlight of the evening is when most of our attending colleagues raided our supply room and put on a Climie + Co t-shirt for a photo. Above you will see some of the best photographers in Georgia, Wisconsin and Texas getting crazy for the camera. These are some of the best friends to have, and we are honored to be in the same line of work as these great folks.
I will leave it up to the viewer to guess who is who since order was never maintained. I was taking the photo, so I wasn’t in there, but we have people from LaCour Photographers, Almasy Visual Arts, Tim Harman, Karen & Co, Brooks Whittington, and KB Image Photography. Thanks to everyone who made it to our party. We had a great time, and we hope you did, too!
